Job Summary: As a Laborer at 417 Demo LLC, you will play a vital role in supporting our demolition and construction projects. You will work closely with the project team to ensure the successful completion of interior tear-outs, site preparation, and excavation tasks. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Interior Tear-Out: Assist in the demolition and removal of interior structures, such as walls, flooring, ceilings, and fixtures. Safely operate hand tools and power tools, such as hammers, crowbars, and saws, to dismantle materials. Sort and separate materials for disposal or recycling according to company guidelines.

Site Preparation: Clear and prepare work areas for demolition or construction activities. Remove debris, waste, and hazardous materials from job sites. Set up and dismantle temporary structures, barriers, and scaffolding as needed.

Excavation: Assist in digging and trenching tasks using shovels, picks, and other manual tools. Support machine operators by providing ground assistance during excavation activities. Ensure the proper placement of safety equipment, such as trench boxes and barriers, during excavation.

Material Handling: Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment from trucks and trailers.Transport materials and supplies to various work areas as directed.Ensure that tools and equipment are cleaned, maintained, and stored properly after use.

Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies at all times. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols on the job site.Report any unsafe conditions or incidents to the supervisor immediately.

General Support: Assist skilled tradespeople, such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers, with various tasks as needed. Perform general cleanup and maintenance duties on the job site. Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about project goals and safety procedures.

Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in construction, demolition, or a related field is preferred but not required. Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions. Basic knowledge of hand and power tools. Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude. Willingness to learn and follow instructions. Commitment to safety and attention to detail.
