The Warehouse Specialist plays a key role in ensuring smooth warehouse operations. In this position, you will assist with overseeing the receiving, storage, and distribution of inventory, while supporting the management team with inventory control and reporting. This role includes assisting with supervising warehouse staff, ensuring safety compliance, and improving workflow efficiency.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Previous experience in warehouse operations is preferred.
• Experience operating an electric forklift or pallet jack is preferred.
• Familiarity with Kanban and MRP systems is beneficial.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role is a plus.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Assist in managing daily warehouse operations and ensuring tasks are completed efficiently.
• Oversee stock management, including organizing, storing, and recording inventory.
• Coordinate and monitor the loading and unloading of deliveries, ensuring timely processing.
• Ensure all warehouse equipment is maintained and operated safely.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Assist in managing and training warehouse staff to promote a productive and safe work environment.
• Address operational issues promptly and escalate matters to management when needed.
• Implement safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized warehouse.
• Support management with tracking and reporting key performance metrics.
• Help develop and execute strategies for process improvement and warehouse optimization.
