Follow established work instructions to accurately clean and maintain paint department and other areas.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a safe, clean work environment; address any unsafe conditions or behaviors with a supervisor
Determine type of chemicals and equipment necessary for specific cleaning tasks.
Provide EH&S with the proper MSDS for any new chemicals used in the facility.
Perform routine maintenance of housekeeping equipment.
Accurately use basic measuring devices
Achieve established goals or deadlines set for specific work areas
Operate required equipment per safety guidelines, upon proper certification
Ensure materials meet established quality standards
Ensure production parts, tools, and equipment are properly stored and maintained
Perform other related and non-related duties as assigned through on-the-job training
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education and Experience
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience is required.
6 months of related experience required.
Required Licenses
Valid driver's license may be required.
Skills, Abilities, and Knowledge
Knowledge of the materials, supplies and equipment utilized in cleaning activities.
Travel
Occasional travel may be required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This position is subject to Medium Work: Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Physical Activities
This position is subject to the following physical activities: climbing, balancing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, crawling, and repetitive motions.
Visual Acuity
The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; expansive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts and/or operation of machines (including inspection); using measurement devices; and/or assembly of fabrication of parts at distances close to the eyes.
Working Conditions
The worker is subject to inside and outside environmental conditions, including heat, noise, vibration, and hazards from a production-based environment.
