Job Details

A Unit Assistant I completes duties as assigned under the direct supervision of healthcare staff, and communicates effectively with members of the care delivery team. While in the program, a Unit Assistant I will be pre-assigned to explore different healthcare departments, gaining exposure to various career pathways. Upon completion of the program, a Unit Assistant I will complete an interview for selection to potentially advance to a Unit Assistant II role in chosen area of interest. The Unit Assistant I will be: Exposed to the daily routines of healthcare workers. Provided opportunities to identify career interests in healthcare. Provided exposure to academic, technical, and personal skills required in healthcare professions. Complete assigned tasks per department assigned.
