Drug screen, physical and criminal background check is required of successful candidates.Essential Responsibilities:Performs any combination of the following duties on construction projects, usually working in a utility capacity and by transferring from one task to another. Activities include but are not limited to:* Constructs forms and chutes for pouring concrete* Erects scaffolding and ladders* Constructs, erects, installs and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood and wallboard using hand tools and power tools.* Prepares layout, using rule, framing square and calipers.* Marks cutting and assembly lines on materials using pencil, chalk and marking gauge* Verifies trueness of structure with plumb bob and carpenter's level* Erects framework for structures and lays subflooring* Builds stairs and lays out and installs partitions and cabinet work* May remove and replace sections of structures prior to and after installation of insulating material.* Metal stud framing* Working with suspended ceilingsAbility to work without close supervision once directed on task.Obeys and follows all safety rules on the job site and encourages others to do the same.Maintains a good relationship with co-workers and works well with others to accomplish a task.Physical demands of this position include lifting up to 70 pounds occasionally; 50 pounds frequently along with frequent handling and reaching, occasional climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and feeling.EOE M/F/D/V
