The Role: Head of Corporate Development

As the Head of Corporate Development, you will be instrumental in driving M&A activities from identifying potential acquisition targets to facilitating post-acquisition integrations. Reporting directly to our CEO, you will lead a team dedicated to enhancing our market position and achieving strategic growth objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. M&A Funnel Management: Develop and lead our M&A pipeline, from lead generation to deal closure, ensuring a continuous stream of opportunities.
2. Relationship Building: Cultivate lasting relationships with business owners and key stakeholders to support deal-making and integration processes.
3. Financial Diligence: Conduct thorough financial and operational diligence to inform acquisition strategies and deal valuations.
4. Deal Execution: Oversee all aspects of deal execution, ensuring seamless coordination among teams and third-party advisors.
5. Operational and Post-Acquisition Integration: Lead efforts to integrate acquisitions smoothly, ensuring alignment with Katsam's operational practices and culture.

We're Looking For

1. Proven Experience: 5+ years in Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting with a strong track record in M&A.
2. Strategic Thinker: Excellent ability to assess opportunities, manage risks, and drive negotiations.
3. Strong Communicator: Capable of building rapport and maintaining strong relationships.
4. Analytical Skills: Deep understanding of financial modelling, due diligence, and market analysis.
5. Leadership Qualities: Entrepreneurial spirit with a knack for leading teams and projects effectively.

Location

1. Based in St. Louis, MO with expected travel for deal-making and integration efforts.
