The Patient Medication Coordinator works closely with medical, nursing, and pharmacy staff to secure access to medication therapy for patients. Responsibilities include medical and pharmacy benefit troubleshooting, assisting patients applying for grant and/or copay assistance, and supporting medication adherence. Must be team-oriented and have strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills as well as an ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. The Patient Medication Coordinator serves as a resource and advocate to patients managing their healthcare, ultimately striving to improve the care and healthcare experience for patients and providers alike. This role utilizes pharmacy technician experience for our Specialty Medications Clinic.
