Our current opening is for a HVAC Controls Construction Field Engineer/Technician in our Springfield office. Technician will be responsible for providing customers with the highest quality installations possible in an efficient and timely manner while assuring customer satisfaction.

• Works with Controls Engineer and Project Manager to install and commission HVAC Controls Systems on assigned project.
• Responsible for servicing and maintaining HVAC Controls Systems and ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Ensure quality completion of project and service work.
• Uses a variety of hand tools, following blueprints, wiring diagrams, piping schemes or engineering specifications, to install, program, and diagnose systems.
• Identifies, analyzes, and diagnoses systems and products at customer's location.
• Documents work by completing paperwork on each job and maintaining files.
• Provides updates to Project Managers.
• Provides technical support to customers.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Basic understanding of HVAC mechanical and controls equipment
• Troubleshooting experience and functional knowledge of test equipment to include multimeter
• Basic computer skills
• Valid driver's license
• Final candidates must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background investigation, including criminal and motor vehicle check.
