Description:

Job Title

To collect revenue from customers entering The Rush Republic Aquatic Park, process program registrations, and verify season pass status and Huna waivers. This position helps maintain a positive guest experience by ensuring efficient front desk operations and contributing to a safe, welcoming aquatic environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Greets and checks in all guests, verifies season pass status, confirms Huna waivers, and files new waivers as needed.

Accurately processes admissions, season passes, facility rentals, reservations, and program registrations using the Point of Sale system and RecDesk (if applicable).

Clearly communicates facility rules, policies, and emergency procedures.

Responds to guest needs and reports concerns to assigned leadership.

Assists in the sale of passes and program registrations, handling money responsibly and following established financial procedures.

Answers phones professionally, provides accurate information, and directs callers to appropriate staff members.

Deals effectively and courteously with fellow employees and the general public.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Attends training sessions as deemed appropriate by the Aquatic Administrator.

Maintains the appropriate supplies for assigned area.

Maintains a neat and orderly work area.

Minimum Qualifications

Education & Experience

Prior experience working in a related position is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

Ability to operate standard office equipment including computers, POS systems, and cash registers. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to understand and enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. Ability to add, subtract, and make correct change. Ability to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Knowledge of safe work practices and maintaining a safe environment. Ability to work effectively with supervisors, coworkers, and the public. Prior cash-handling experience is strongly preferred.

Physical Demands

Performs bending, squatting, crawling, twisting, kneeling, and reaching to ground level and overhead; Must be able to reach, grip and hold; Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time; Must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry 60 pounds.

Work Environment

Mostly in an outdoor working environment with exposure to dust and pollen, toxic fumes, chemicals or smoke, contagious diseases, electrical and mechanical hazards associated with equipment, extreme noise; Subject to variety of extreme weather condition; Susceptible to safety hazards associated with working in and around high traffic volume; May work in confined places and awkward positions.

Miscellaneous Requirements

May be required to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.

Subject to emergency call-in.

Must be a dependable person due to the small size of the work force.

May be subject to random substance abuse testing.
