Job Overview: Join our dedicated team as a Janitorial Services Worker, where you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our distribution center. This position involves both inside and outside maintenance and offers an opportunity to contribute to a safe and welcoming environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough cleaning tasks including emptying trash and cardboard containers, and sweeping all floor areas.
• Operate floor cleaning machinery and cardboard baler to ensure facilities are well-maintained.
• Keep janitorial supply stations organized, stocked, and operational, including equipment like brooms and mops.
• Assist the maintenance team in organizing and maintaining the tote repair area.
• Ensure restrooms and break areas are stocked with essential supplies, including paper products and hand cleaners.
• Help maintain the exterior of the distribution center by supporting grounds upkeep such as snow removal, lawn mowing, and trash collection.
• Support general maintenance efforts, assisting the maintenance department as needed.
• Adhere to safety standards while performing tasks and actively identify potential hazards.
• Complete other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in custodial work within a building, hotel, or distribution setting.
• Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively within a team environment.

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is preferred.
• Basic understanding of grounds maintenance practices (e.g., lawn mowing, weeding, trimming).
• Prior experience with operating lawn equipment is beneficial.
• Fluency in multiple languages, particularly Spanish, is advantageous.
