About Us: Springfield Leather Co. is an ever-growing business with over 60 employees and 28,000 square feet of space, including two warehouses that total approximately 8-9,000 square feet. Housing close to 2 million square feet of leather and over 12,000 different products for resale, we are currently seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team and contribute to our expanding operations.

Job Summary: As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for designing warehouse layout, maintaining inventory levels in the mail-order warehouse, stocking merchandise in both warehouses, packaging merchandise for our Mail Order Department, and assisting with the receipt of freight as necessary. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational and math skills, a keen memory, proficiency in using a computer, and the ability to problem-solve, think creatively, and make critical decisions in an environment where there are no black and white rules.

Position Details:

• Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 am-5:00 pm with flexibility
• Starting Wage: $16.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

1. Maintain accurate inventory levels in the mail-order warehouse.
2. Stock merchandise in both warehouses, ensuring proper organization and accessibility.
3. Package merchandise for use in our Mail Order Department.
4. Assist with the receipt of freight as necessary.
5. Demonstrate a sense of urgency and the ability to work in an environment without black and white rules.
6. Lift up to 50 pounds, stand or walk all day, and climb ladders as needed.

1. Strong organizational and math skills.
2. Keen memory and attention to detail.
3. Proficiency in using a computer.
4. Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
5. Ability to think creatively and adapt to different situations.
6. Capacity to work in a physically demanding role, including lifting, standing, walking, and climbing ladders.
