Position: Ironworker

Location: Springfield, Missouri

Pay: $28-$32 per hour (DOE)

Hours: 45-55 hours per week, with some Saturdays

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Overview:

We are seeking experienced Ironworkers to join our team for structural steel and metal building projects in the Springfield area. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience erecting steel, reading blueprints, and performing rigging operations safely and efficiently. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety. You will be working closely with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Erect structural steel, install precast concrete panels, and assemble metal buildings
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
• Cut, shape, and fabricate metal components using hand and power tools
• Operate cranes, hoists, and other lifting equipment
• Install rigging systems and ensure safe lifting operations
• Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety protocols
• Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines

• Proven ironworker experience
• Proficiency in metal building erection and rigging
• Ability to read and understand blueprints
• Strong knowledge of steel construction methods and materials
• Physical stamina for heavy labor in all weather conditions
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Reliable transportation
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen
• OSHA 10 or higher required
