About the Role:

As a Cook, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality meals that meet the standards of our establishment and satisfy our customers. Your primary focus will be on preparing, seasoning, and cooking a variety of dishes in a timely and efficient manner while maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards. You will collaborate closely with the kitchen team, including the Head Chef, to ensure smooth kitchen operations and consistent food quality. This role requires physical stamina to stand for extended periods, move objects, and navigate kitchen spaces safely. Ultimately, your work will contribute directly to the overall dining experience and reputation of our culinary service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking in a professional kitchen.
  • Ability to read and speak English to understand recipes and communicate with team members.
  • Physical capability to stand for long periods and perform manual tasks safely.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
  • Strong manual dexterity and attention to detail in food production.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working under the supervision of a Head Chef or in a similar kitchen environment.
  • Formal culinary training or certification.
  • Familiarity with a variety of cooking techniques and cuisines.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting.
  • Additional language skills to support diverse kitchen teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas.
  • Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Assist the Head Chef in daily kitchen operations and inventory management.
